We are honored to be part of 1% For Maine. Our quarterly contributions to the Portside Foundation benefits local nonprofits.
One of the biggest reasons we chose to work for Portside was to give back. It struck a cord for us that with every transaction we are helping Maine youth and with my social work background the programs we support are often programs that I have worked with in the past.
We love that all of the money is going back to our state and towns we live and work in. We want to give back to the community where we serve.
We are part of this community and our involvement in this amazing project allows us to elevate and aid our friends and neighbors. We care deeply that everyone in our community has access to things like quality education, affordable housing, medical care and food. It’s a no brainer. It feels good to know that we are in a position where we can help our community this way.
