As August arrives, Northern Maine sheds its springtime cloak and embraces the full glory of summer. This picturesque region, known for its pristine wilderness, stunning landscapes, and warm-hearted locals, beckons travelers seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. From outdoor adventures to cultural experiences, there's something for everyone in this summer wonderland. Join us as we uncover the exciting activities you can enjoy in Northern Maine this August.

One of our favorite family activities is to go to the Brunswick Farmers Market. It is a great place to let the kids run around every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine. Its location at the Brunswick Mall is convenient and the hours of 8am to 1pm mean the kids can get their morning wiggles out while we stock up on everything from fruit and veggies to soaps and seafood. 

Every 2nd Friday in Brunswick from 4 to 7 p.m.  August 12 and September 9. Join us as we enjoy a variety of artists and musicians, and entertainers, at the upcoming Friday ArtWalk.  

We can’t wait to see the art and meet the artists along Maine Street , visit unique and artistic shops, and enjoy Brunswick’s many outside and inside dining opportunities!
